No Compromise: Living with faith and integrity in a corrupt world.
The armies of King Nebuchadnezzar surround the city of Jerusalem. Fear grips the people as many are killed and many are captured. Among those torn away from their families are four teenagers of noble birth. The brightest of the nation. Among them were Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah.
They would each face multiple trials and tests. Many of these were the kinds of trials that every believer encounters. However, some of them were life threatening. Could they withstand the pressure to compromise their faith? Would they be obedient to God's law in the face of sure torture and even the prospect of being torn limb from limb by wild animals. Learn how these young noblemen faced their new circumstances with faith and integrity and how you too can do the same thing today. Included is discussion questions for each chapter and relevant scripture to make it easy to teach or to lead a bibly study or class. |
Seven Attributes of Healthy Churches:
Living with faith and integrity in a corrupt world .
Seven Attributes of Healthy Churches is based Acts 2:42-47. It presents New Testament principles used by the apostles in the first church to build and govern the Christian church. It also introduces Giannis and Dimitra, a fictional 1st century couple who are new converts in the Ephesian church. Giannis and Dimitra came to Jesus under the influence and mentorship of Aquila and Priscilla and the Apostle Paul. They will spark your imagination about how these Apostolic principles may have played out in the lives of early converts in the Ephesian church.

Course Corrections: Biblical Strategies to win life's biggest battles.
Course Corrections
I remember the first funeral I led as a pastor. A good friend in my congregation lost his mother. Brent was about my same age and I hurt with him. At the end of the service the friends filed past the coffin that held his mom. Brent was in the last group. By the time he got to the casket he was crying…hard. Suddenly as he looked down at his mother he reached into the coffin and tried to lift his mother up and out. I didn’t know what to do or to say. A funeral director grabbed him and pulled him away.
When it was all over I went home in pain myself for the sake of my friend and because I didn’t know how to comfort him or to help him understand death as a Christian.
